What is @anime!?
@anime! originally spawned from a bout of insanity in 1999. A small group of folks with fairly extensive anime convention experience got together and started reviewing and commenting on the world of anime and manga. Six years and several speed bumps later, we’re still here and working to keep bringing the best coverage of anime and manga to your computer screens. The goal of all of us here at @anime! is first and foremost to bring news, features and reviews from the world of anime and manga, with information from both sides of the Pacific. We feature a wide variety of topics, from anime and manga to Japanese music and anime soundtracks, import and domestic video games, industry information, and interesting cultural and fan-related features. @anime! is where the Japanese and American media worlds comes together. We’re glad to see you along for the journey.

Editor-in-Chief, writer, designer, geek.
Tim Georgi is a graphic designer, web programmer, artist, comic colorist, and photographer. Starting in media production in 1991, Tim mainly worked as a freelance graphic designer, web developer and tech consultant through Skyfall Creative, a division of his media company Skyfall Communications LLC.
Tim has done design work for a wide variety of clients over the years, including Amway, Upper Deck, UPS, Citibank, Pioneer Electronics, In-N-Out Burger, Novell, Motorola, FTD, Alliant Insurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and D-Link.
Tim spent over 17 years staffing anime conventions around the country. He was the Senior Designer/Creative Director and media production guy for Anime Central and Anime Reactor in Chicago, and Anime Banzai in Salt Lake City. He was also the Editor-In-Chief and writer for @anime!, a web magazine on anime and manga.
In the world of comics, Tim was the long-time designer and webmaster for Elfquest.com, the website for the highly acclaimed fantasy comics series Elfquest and its publisher Warp Graphics, Inc. During that time, he was the colorist for the first three European volumes of Elfquest: Dreamtime, released by Warp through German comics publisher Carlsen Verlag.
He is also the artist and writer for the (currenlty on hiatus) webcomic Beyond Neverwonder, a mixed-up cross between “Alice in Wonderland” and “Peter Pan”.
Under normal circumstances, he can be found working (usually), sleeping, or at home watching anime on Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, or Funimation NOW.
